What We Do

Fazan & Co provides risk advisory and claims advocacy services to organisations in the creative industries and beyond.

We also make introductions to regulated insurance intermediaries, including brokers and underwriters. We do not arrange, place, or bind insurance contracts, nor do we handle client money. Insurance introductions are made to firms authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Regulatory Status

BraveHeart Risk Ltd is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Our risk advisory and claims advocacy services do not constitute regulated activities under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.

Where insurance placement is required, we introduce clients to FCA-authorised intermediaries. Any insurance contract you enter into will be between you and a regulated insurer, arranged through a regulated broker. We recommend that you satisfy yourself as to the regulatory status of any firm to which you are introduced.

Claims Guidance

Our claims guidance service helps clients understand the claims process, prepare for discussions with their insurer, and find the right professionals — regulated loss assessors, adjusters, and solicitors — when formal claims management is required.

We do not provide legal advice or regulated claims management. Where formal claims handling, legal representation, or loss assessment is required, we help you find appropriately qualified and regulated professionals.

Limitation of Liability

While we take reasonable care in providing our services, Fazan & Co (BraveHeart Risk Ltd) does not accept liability for any loss arising from reliance on general information or commentary provided by us. Our advisory services are not a substitute for professional insurance broking advice, legal advice, or financial advice. Specific terms of engagement are agreed on a per-client basis.

Complaints

If you wish to make a complaint about our services, please write to us at geoff@fazan.co.uk. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and aim to resolve it within a reasonable timeframe.

Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Any personal information you share with us is used solely for the purposes of providing our services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where necessary to fulfil the services you have engaged us for (for example, making introductions to insurance intermediaries) or where required by law.
